Tips for a Better School
If you are about to start a school, consider the following tips for effective results. I hope these will make your students and their education better although they are only abstract so far.
• First and foremost, consider educational institutions a social work, not a business.
• In case you are about to follow the system of some renowned schools, don't follow the system which gives better marks, follow the one which moulds better students.
• Make no divisions based on caste, religion, community or race on certificates as well as in person. Avoid all kinds of divisions.
• With a good education, good hygiene and more, provide your best. Use the revenue to fulfil students, not to fill your filthy hands.
• Hire experienced and mature teachers.
• While keeping an eye on the students, monitor the teachers too.
• Always be open to the parents' opinions. Thus, there will also be a mutual understanding between the management and the parents. Moreover, the parents will feel an emotional bond with the school.
• Allot at least one session for fun and extra-curricular activities. Give priority to extra-curricular activities.
• Rather than framing a common syllabus for everyone, sort out the students based on their passion, and ambition and train them accordingly.
• Maintain less strength for better education.
• There should be no taboo topics. Students must be aware of all the stuff in the world.
• The lessons that the students have to learn are not limited to their syllabus or books. So, apart from the syllabus, management must teach them:
1. Life lessons, soft skills, financial and political knowledge. Also, they must make some healthy discussions about life and share their experiences with the students,
2. Meditation and Yoga. No student will get sick of it once they get involved in it. Moreover, try such practices for punishments if students commit any mistakes.
• The examination must be changed from written format to answering straight to the teacher format.
